Laurens Electric Resource Center: Deposit Refund

In order to refund a deposit on an account, Laurens Electric Cooperative’s policy states you must have service to that residence for 1 year. Your account must be in good standings with no late payments, returned checks, or cut offs.

If a deposit can be returned, you will most often see the refund in the form of a credit on your next/final bill.

Please contact customer service by e-mail at customerservice@laurenselectric.com, or call 1-800-942-3141 to go over your account history to see if your deposit can be refunded.
